alexOriginally uploaded by silviahalfon. What seemed so easy, ended up being very time consuming as I kept on loosing my links. Signing in and figuring out how to navigate the site was complicated, again went on a loop. I would love to learn how to attach notes to the pictures. Saw a demo about this but could not find it again, any http://flickr.com/photos/7369642@N04/426102621/

Wikis

ETG has done a wonderful job at getting us started on wikis. Passwords were given and all we had to do was to provide some content. Well … for the beginner like me the navigation encountered a few obstacles, like posting on Alex’s wiki instead of posting my own, and linking on the sidebar.
Pbwiki and wetpaint are similar. The link feature was new to me. I linked a website from a google search but when tested at home it did not allow me to search because it was not a secure site. Is the choice of sites important?

Blogs and RSS feeds week 3

Here we are week 3
I really enjoyed blogging. I only tried WordPress and intend to try Blogger later on. I agree with Wade it can be addictive.
I am a bit disappointed with RSS feeds. It is just me. I am not able to set them up properly, I tried various permutations but end up freezing the computer…Not good.
Again I have tried only Bloglines and I am unable to put the RSS links in my blog although I have an RSS feed?? Mission impossible?
